Rev. Hlongwane is married to Reverend Mrs. Victoria Othelia Hlongwane
Has three children (3), one boy and two girls by previous marriage (wife Ntombi Ruth Hlongwane who died in 2003). He is an ordained minister of International Assemblies of God.

Planted the following churches:
International Assemblies of God Cullinan,
International Assemblies of God Mamelodi Ebenezer,
Mamelodi East International Assemblies of God Emmanuel, and International Assemblies of God Centurion amongst others.

He holds amongst others a Masters Degree in Theological Education MA Springfield Missouri United State of America.
Served as first Assistant General Superintendent (title presently known as General President) In 1998 up to 2004.
Elected as General President of International Assemblies of God 2004 up to date.
Chairman of Global School of Theology.
Chairman of the International Assemblies of God General Council.
Chairman of the General Presbetary of International Assemblies of God.
Presently pastoring International Assemblies of God Assembly in Centurion.
